The acoustic ceiling is ideal acoustic decorative material, its raw materials are environmentally friendly, flame retardant, heat insulation, heat preservation, moisture-proof, mold-proof, easy to dust, easy to cut, can be parquet, easy construction, cost-effective, and other characteristics, there are a variety of patterns and colors to choose from, can meet the requirements of different styles and levels of decoration. So what are the precautions in the process of installing acoustic ceilings?
Here is the content list:
Acoustic ceiling treatments
Acoustic ceilings must be installed following certain requirements
Selection of glues for gluing acoustic ceilings
Non-perforated acoustic ceilings should have the joints in the acoustic panels taped with seam tape and perforated acoustic panels should have the holes sealed with a thin film on the inside of the acoustic ceiling.
The order of installation of acoustic ceilings follows the principle of left to right and bottom to top. When installing acoustic ceilings horizontally, the notch faces upwards; when installing vertically, the notch is on the right side. The acoustic ceiling is installed vertically, with the notch on the right, then from the left in the same way. A gap of not less than 3mm should be left at the end of the two acoustic ceilings.
The walls covered by acoustic ceilings must be fitted with keels according to the requirements of the design drawings or construction drawings, and the keels must be leveled. The keel surface should be flat, smooth, rust-free, and free from deformation; the structural wall should be treated before construction following the building code, and the size of the keel row must be compatible with the row of the acoustic ceiling. The distance from the surface of the wooden keel to the base should be 50mm according to the specific requirements, and the error of flatness and verticality of the wooden keel should be no more than 0.5mm; if fillers are needed in the keel gap, they should be installed and treated according to the design requirements first, and ensure that they do not the installation of acoustic ceilings should not be affected.
The first consideration is to use glue that meets the requirements of environmental protection. Different types of adhesive can be chosen according to the different substrates on which the acoustic ceiling is pasted; cement or wooden acoustic ceiling substrates can be chosen from neoprene-based non-benzene universal glue or 100 latex; paper-faced plaster acoustic ceiling substrates can be chosen from 100 latex or cellulose-based wallpaper glue under conditions where moisture is not easy, and universal glue can be chosen under conditions where moisture is easy or possible.
Today, the technology for making acoustic ceilings is well-developed. Moreover, the quality of sound-absorbing ceilings is high and is gradually converging toward the harmonization of international standards. As a result, different customers can choose from a wide range of acoustic ceilings from different suppliers. Whether it is a simple acoustic ceiling or one of the more popular ones, the acoustic ceilings offered by our company are an ideal choice for our customers.
